How the facts are checked
Every page answers one decision a traveller is actually making — is a sight worth it, which tour to book, where to sleep — with a direct verdict rather than a listicle. The verdict is an editorial judgement; the facts under it are not, and they are checked against the most direct source available: the operator's or venue's own site, a government or regulator page (the Bureau of Immigration, MIAA and the airport operator, PAGASA, the National Museum, the Intramuros Administration), the Michelin Guide's own listings, and the live price on the booking platform for tours.
Each page shows the date its facts were last checked against those sources. Where a page still says only Updated, it has not been re-checked since that month. Prices are quoted as ranges because they move; the operator's live page is always the final word, and a booking link goes straight to it.
Venue hours are deliberately not published. They change too often for a printed copy to stay right, so every venue page links to its Google Maps listing, which shows today's hours. Ratings from third-party sites are quoted with their source and are never marked up as our own reviews.
Corrections
If something here is wrong or out of date — a price, a closure, a route that no longer runs — email [email protected] with the page and, ideally, a source. Confirmed errors are fixed on the page and the page's checked date moves with the fix.

Your price does not change, and the commission never changes a verdict: pages recommend skipping paid attractions wherever the facts say so, and free things get the same treatment as bookable ones.
